Eastwood Park’s 2017-18 training dates now available
Our water hygiene training covers the most relevant and up to date guidance, including HTM 04-01, ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
We offer courses for healthcare and non-healthcare staff, including (but not limited to) Technicians, Appointed Responsible Persons, those responsible for the control of Legionella and those responsible for managing, maintaining and monitoring hot & cold water systems in healthcare and non-healthcare premises.
HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG 274 states employers must provide suitable information, instruction and training to employees (applicable to designers and installers too) likely to risk exposure to Legionella.
The recently published Health Technical Memorandum 04-01 (2016) includes recommendations for the safe management of water systems, the principles of the Water Safety Group (WSG) and Water Safety Plans. A stronger emphasis on staff competencies and the implementation of water hygiene awareness training, is a new addition. Our new water portfolio reflects this.
