Aims & objectives

The aspiration is that FM professionals will better understand EPRR professionals and what they do and vice versa, whilst also recognising the essential role that Health and Safety Leads play in both disciplines; and the risk assessment tools that they use.

This course is an excellent opportunity to bring multiple leaders, from across several disciplines, together to utilise the shared learning environment to workshop their own issues and sow the seeds for future cooperation and effectiveness.

The course will be particularly interesting in the context of Integrated Care Systems evolving responsibilities for Estates, and for EPRR within the National EPRR Framework.

During the course you will cover the following operational principles:

  • Civil Contingencies Act, that underpins EPRR
  • NHS England EPRR Framework and the responsibilities of parties
  • Membership and responsibilities of the Local Resilience Forums (LRF)
  • Business Continuity Plans and Mutual Aid
