This Course offers a model, akin to the HTM Engineering Guidance, that will give organisations a Robust Assurance Framework in which to operate in; and familiarise Soft FM Leaders with the HTM Guidance, better equipping them for future roles managing wider portfolios.

Organisational Guidance for NHS Providers has historically focussed on Engineering. More recently there has been a levelling up through the application of the Premises Assurance Model and Catering and Cleaning Standards, however there is no recognised professional hierarchy. This Course offers a model, akin to the HTM Engineering Guidance, that will give organisations a Robust Assurance Framework in which to operate in; and familiarise Soft FM Leaders with the HTM Guidance, better equipping them for future roles managing wider portfolios.

Aims & objectives

The course will not be technical, except for the legislative bit, but it will cover a wide range of subjects of which the delegate should be aware in fulfilling their role and ensuring the resilience of their services and the safety of their Staff, Patients and Visitors.

 

BY THE END OF THE COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Understand HTM00 and the structures that typically support an Engineering HTM
  • Have an understanding of the legislative and guidance framework that supports the delivery of Estates
  • The capability to apply HTM00 to Catering and Cleaning
  • Awareness of the Organisational Structures, Appointments, Committees and Assurance relating to Estates
  • Have the tools to support recruitment, development and support of talent
  • Have the tools to develop their framework for assurance in catering and cleaning
  • Have developed personal understanding to assist in expanding their portfolio to cover hard FM
