Based only five miles from the de Smit Medical offices in South Gloucestershire, we at Eastwood Park are proud of our brand new, state of the art training centre that was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal in April 2023. As the leading provider of technical healthcare engineering training in the UK, de Smit is thrilled to see their range of biomedical test equipment and bladder scanners being used on several of the courses here at Eastwood Park.
Specifically, you will find the vPad-Rugged electrical safety tester, the vPad-RF diathermy analyser, vPad-IV infusion pump analyser, vPad-A1 patient simulator, and the BioCon-1100 bladder scanner on the ‘Biomedical equipment maintenance practice’ and ‘Safety testing of electrical medical equipment (IEC 60601-1 + 62353)’ courses.
