Chris Short, Lift Safety

Chris is one of our expert Lift Safety trainers here at Eastwood Park.

Chris brings with him a wealth of experience on the back of 40 plus years in the lifts industry covering a wide range of roles.

Chris began his career as an Indentured Apprentice Lift Engineer for KONE Elevators in 1980 and soon after became a qualified lift engineer.

Since then, Chris has obtained City & Guilds in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and for 6 years completed annual NALM courses (National Association of Lift Manufacturers) now known as LEIA (Lift & Escalator Industry Association).

Over the next 10 years Chris advanced to a senior engineer before stepping into supervision and starting a 23 year management career covering various roles. Finally, he progressed to senior management for a major corporation as Head of the Service before joining us here at Eastwood Park as an expert trainer.
