Meet the newest members of our Sales team

We are very excited to welcome our two new Customer Service and Sales Advisors, Sam McQuigg and Katie McNally. Both Sam and Katie carry out an important role as first point of contact for customer enquiries and bookings onto training courses and with our partner venues.

Sam is a familiar face here at Eastwood Park, having worked as a valued member of our reception team at our country house for the last 3 years. Katie, who’s joined us from a company in Bristol, is new to the Eastwood Park family and is settling in fantastically.

We’ve asked them both a few questions about their new role, experiences and a little bit about themselves!

Up first, Sam McQuigg…

What’s your favourite thing about Eastwood Park?

The people and the surrounding area. Eastwood Park is a beautiful setting to work in.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

Having worked at Eastwood Park venue for 3 years, I’m excited to further my knowledge of the business and get involved with the training side.

What’s been your biggest achievement?

My son. Having brought him up on my own as a single parent, he is my greatest achievement. I’m excited to see him head off to university in York this September to study Psychology – proud mum moment!

How do you like spending your time outside of the office?

You’ll often find me in the kitchen, cooking or baking. Best bake? Red velvet cake – even if I say so myself.

Tell us something about yourself that we may not know?

When I was younger, I took 18 months out and backpacked around the world. I visited South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and parts of America. My favourite destination was South East Asia – in particular Malaysia and Thailand.

What stands out to you about Eastwood Park?

It’s such a friendly atmosphere and everyone has been really welcoming. It’s great having the opportunity to meet lots of people, from colleagues to those studying at the training centre.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I’m really excited to get to know and interact with our delegates and trainers. I’m also looking forward to being involved with the business development aspect of the role, and having the opportunity to manage different accounts.

What’s been your biggest achievement?

I spent some time in my last job volunteering for Cancer Research UK. I found it really rewarding and loved being able to give back to a charity close to my heart.

How do you like spending your time outside of the office?

I like to stay active and I’m a very sociable person so you’ll often find me out with friends.

Tell us something about yourself that we may not know?

Growing up I had three pet donkeys; Andrew, Phoebe and Sheena. We had Andrew as a baby and rescued Phoebe and Sheena.
