We recently delivered our biggest Apprentice summer school to date – what a wonderful week it was! Bringing together likeminded individuals for a week of studying, socialising and even some clay pigeon shooting.
Our summer school runs for across 5 days, where delegates learn in our brand-new training facility and enjoy their overnight stay in our beautiful country house, located in over 200 acres of tranquil countryside and rolling hills.
The school aims to fill the gaps in the standard engineering apprenticeship skills framework with a broad introduction to a wide range of engineering disciplines operating within a medical/healthcare environment.
Apprentices gain a greater understanding of how the services they provide impacts on compliance to various HTMs and will be relevant to electrical and mechanical apprentice engineers.
Amongst all of the studying, delegates get to enjoy various activities throughout the week, such as a summer BBQ (the sun even made an appearance!), team dinners and clay pigeon shooting with CEO, John Thatcher.
But don’t just take it from us, here’s what this year’s apprentices had to say about their experience…
“It has given me a good grounding and confidence to seek more training on the job.”
“The tutors had years of experience and seemed to be experts in their fields.”
“I will take lots of knowledge away from the course and apply it to my job.”
“The accommodation was spot on. Lovely estate and grounds.”
“Been very rewarding.”
