Open for business and support
As we all get used to the new coronavirus norm, we continue to applaud all those currently working at the sharp end across the board supporting us through this pandemic; in the NHS and many other organisations with whom we have been fortunate to come into contact with during our 50 years of training.
Although we have closed our main training facilities, we are here to support you where we can, whether that be in the form of advice, training, or just helping organisations plan ahead for when we get through to the other side.
Emergency training for the NHS
Eastwood Park, through its extensive network of experts is pleased to be supporting in the vast medical equipment arena and we acknowledge the support of our medical equipment trainer Dr Scott Brown who has been adapting some of our training resources.
These are to be used to support the engineers on site at the new NHS Nightingale hospital in London. These include short courses on pipeline Twin Schrader outlets “splitters” and flow metres. Other resources are being prepared too, should this be something of value please get in touch.
We are also pleased to be supporting Public Health England with urgent electrical training.
Although our scheduled training does not resume until the end of June – subject to national restrictions - any urgent requirements can be dealt with now.
We have also relaxed our Terms & Conditions to allow you to transfer bookings within the next three months (April, May, June) to later in the year. This will inevitably start to put pressure on availability for the second part of the year, so if you know you will have a requirement or are in a position to book, then we are here to manage this for you.
However, if now is not the right time – and we appreciate for many it is not – then we will look to deliver additional dates to fulfil demand later in the year, should this become necessary.
We appreciate the huge pressures on the NHS including healthcare engineers and FM teams.
As our 200-acre estate with extensive teaching and function rooms, 70-bed accommodation, restaurant, bar and recreational facilities are currently closed, we would like to make you aware that these facilities are available, if they can be of any value to the NHS in helping to manage the coronavirus outbreak.
We are fortunate to be in a remote but easily accessible location, a short distance from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham and just a few minutes from junction 14 on the M5.
With outdoor opportunities to erect temporary structures and wide-open space for helicopter landing, this may prove an adaptable and versatile resource if needed.
Our teams are here to help you now where we can. We can be contacted on +44 (0) 1454 262777 or email@example.com.
