Familiar faces at complete medical gas training Eastwood Park

Earlier this year we were pleased to see familiar faces at Eastwood Park, with a visit from Senior Engineers from Dräger Arabia Company Ltd. (Pictured L-R Constancia Denina, Mohammed Mustafa Quriashi, Khaled Mousa Metwally, Syed Sohail Ahmed).

The team of medical gas design engineers and project managers took part in Authorised Person medical gas refresher training, as well as a medical gas pipeline system design course. It was three years after they attended our training delivered in Dubai, led by Medical Gas Portfolio Manager, Michael Ell; however, this time they came to us.

It was a demanding week, as the group were the first to admit, as they took the opportunity to challenge all parts of the HTM 02-01 in detail and question their understanding of the guidance as outlined in the document.

They commented:

“We have medical facilities in Riyadh on a different scale to that in the UK and implementing standards for our MGPS pipelines is critical. We have found Michael’s input hugely insightful and valuable to us. It’s always a challenge to balance what’s in the book with real life, so Eastwood Park’s practical training helps to clarify the best way forward.”

The group all agreed that they benefitted from Eastwood Park’s quiet and dedicated training centre - a focused environment in which to reflect on the demands of the job away from the workplace. The team also appreciated the change in scenery, with the Gloucestershire countryside providing a real contrast to facilities in Riyadh!

We are delighted that the team from Draeger found such value in their time with us at Eastwood Park and are glad to have the continued the opportunity to support colleagues around the world in their training needs.
