Simon Corben (Director of NHS Estates & Facilities and Head of Profession - pictured) is among the list of speakers at HEFMA South West’s next training seminar this spring, focusing on improving efficiencies through performance and productivity.
The event entitled “Collaboration is King” takes place on Thursday 12 April 2018 at Eastwood Park in South Gloucestershire and is open to all HEFMA SW branch members.
The day will consider the response to Sir Robert Naylor’s report and a presentation on workforce; there will also be a close look at ERIC and an insight into work carried out over the past 2 years in terms of improving the quality of estates and facilities benchmarking information, as well as addressing unwanted variances in maintenance.
Alongside Simon Corben, the seminar will feature contributions from:
- Adrian Eggleton - Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities, 2gether NHS Foundation Trust/Chair of HEFMA SW
- Cliff Howell - Director & Operational Lead, NHS Estates & Facilities
- Simon Rigby - Associate Director of Estates & Facilities, Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
- Dr Stuart Windsor - Associate Director of Facilities, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust
Speaker, Dr Stuart Windsor, Associate Director of Facilities at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, said:
“Initial focus was on making our data more comparable and create information, but this has now developed into understanding what the data is actually telling us and providing the insight into how we can share and develop good practice.”
Chair of HEFMA SW, Adrian Eggleton added:
“We are delighted to have a really strong line up of speakers for the day and I would encourage as many of our members, who are able to, to attend.”
HEFMA South West members should contact Eastwood Park to book (£100 per person including lunch), call +44 (0)1454 262777 or email us.
