Read how Arup engineer - Mark - has benefitted from our training

Mark Walker is an Associate Design Engineer employed by Arup - an independent company of designers, planners, consultants and technical specialists.  Arup employs more than 13,000 specialists working across 90+ offices in 35 countries. Mark is also an IHEEM registered medical gases Authorising Engineer and is Chair of the CIBSE Healthcare Group.

Mark has attended a number of courses at Eastwood Park including Authorised Person (MGPS); Authorised Person (Ventilation); the Authorising Engineers Foundation programme and most recently the specialist medical gas pipeline design training.

Mark emphasises that Eastwood Park is his preferred training provider: “I have come to Eastwood Park throughout my career and would choose Eastwood Park above other providers.  I find there is just the right balance between the theory and practical and the trainers’ expertise has always been exceptional.”

“It is also a great place to understand what others are facing in the healthcare sector and the courses often draw this out through the learning process. This sometimes just re-affirms what I already knew through working internationally as a consultant; however at other times it is a perfect forum for sharing problems and challenges that as engineers we face daily and it really is very helpful.  Discussions often can continue in the bar afterwards too!”

“With a mix of international delegates, this can bring different dimensions to the training and working around the world as a consultant this adds more value to the experience.”

“I cannot fault Eastwood Park from all aspects; it’s a great venue, delivering exceptional training and the food’s great – above all I highly rate the trainers, they are always on the ball!  It will be even better when the new training centre is built and functioning but the current premises do not detract in any way from the quality of the programmes I’ve attended.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eastwood Park.”
