Eastwood Park’s new training calendar for April 2017- March 2018 has been published this month, with details of its specialist healthcare engineering, estates and facilities management courses, as well as unique and new development training for estates teams.
A completely refreshed water hygiene portfolio has been developed for both healthcare and non-healthcare organisations, meeting the latest significant guideline changes. Appropriate expertise and competence is a requirement for all involved in the delivery of safe water for all uses throughout an organisation; our new water training reflects this and provides current, in-depth practical training for all roles in healthcare and building services.
The calendar also features an expanded HV and LV electrical portfolio, making use of the brand new electrical training facility launched in 2016. Alongside HV courses are two new short courses on electrical fault finding and Minor Works compliance.
There are two additions to the HVAC portfolio, with short refresher ventilation training designed for Competent and Authorised Persons who require a recap on skills and competencies for managing ventilation systems in healthcare premises.
Finally, we will be delivering a unique suite of intensive estates courses addressing PFI, PAM, CQC and energy management and our hospital engineering degree programmes remain a significant part of our curriculum.
With essential training in everything from decontamination and infection control through core hospital engineering disciplines to estates and facilities management, Eastwood Park delivers courses to meet the latest regulations and HTM guidelines.
