Eastwood Park experts will be advising visitors on stand B37 at Healthcare Estates 2016 of the most relevant changes to recently published HTM guidelines and the latest additions to the training calendar.
Four new HTM guidelines have been re-published in the last six months: HTM 01-01 Decontamination of surgical instruments; HTM 01-06 Management and decontamination of flexible endoscopes; HTM 08-02 Lifts and HTM 04-01 Safe water in healthcare premises.
Eastwood Park will also be presenting its new and fresh approach to high voltage (HV) training, following the opening of the brand new HV training facility, replicating a small-scale hospital site.
The focus for Eastwood Park training this year is improving awareness in hospital engineering and estate teams of the benefits of continuously developing knowledge, skills and competencies. To this end Eastwood Park has extended the Estates portfolio to include the opportunity to become a graduate.
The BSc (Hons) degree in Management of Healthcare Engineering Technologies & Facilities is only available at Eastwood Park and has been designed specifically for individuals working in the healthcare engineering and estates & facilities sector. The BSc complements Eastwood Park’s new ‘degrees’ portfolio, sitting alongside a Foundation Degree in Hospital Engineering and a Foundation Degree in Medical Equipment Technologies. Although you can’t beat experience, there is no doubt a degree level qualification does help hospital engineers stand out both within their workplace and employment market.
Visit us on stand: B37 to learn more, we hope to see you there.
