Following the Government’s announcement on 4 January 2021 regarding a new national lockdown in England, Eastwood Park has suspended all its classroom-based training with immediate effect in support of the national effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have been working hard to continue supporting key workers with essential training for as long as possible, however due to the significant rise in COVID-19 cases across the UK, we are taking a decision to pause this in the short term. While the Government has not specified that we must suspend training, we feel it is the only responsible course of action, to support our colleagues working within the NHS and other essential roles.
Although our scheduled training is temporarily on hold, we are currently working through all affected course bookings and will find alternative training dates.
We are taking future bookings based on our April 2021/March 2022 calendar that has just been launched. We are also able to respond to any urgent requirements and our team are here to review how we can support emergency training to support the critical work that you do. We are offering selected courses online and delivering urgent training on site in a safe environment.
We have already spoken to many of you regarding new arrangements; we remain available on the phone at +44 (0)1454 262777 or via email. Naturally, we are experiencing a high volume of enquires at present - thank you for your continued patience.
With the vaccine programme roll out gaining momentum, we hope that it will not be too long before we are welcoming you to Eastwood Park again. In the meantime, please do stay in touch with us via social media and see our website for the latest updates. Please be assured we plan to re-open as soon as is safe and practical to do so and will keep the situation under constant review.
