Who Is It For?

This course is aimed at estates and facilities managers, lift installers, servicing and maintenance contractors & engineering consultants with a responsibility as an Authorised Person for lifts within the healthcare environment.

Aim Of The Programme

To provide learners working with lifts in the healthcare sector with a thorough understanding of current legislation, regulations, roles and responsibilities and who should undertake these.In addition, the course covers the inspections and examinations required for lifts. This includes the safety examinations required of electrical and mechanical items. Throughout this course the emphasis is on carrying out duties in a safe and responsible manner.

Train in our specialist Lift Training facility

 

Our three-story lift lab provides the perfect training environment for our learners. Housing hydraulic and electrical traction lifts, including machine room-less lifts, it enables practical training and real life fault-finding exercises.

Using real, live equipment where our expert trainers can set common faults allows learners to receive hands-on experience in a safe environment. Our lift facility also has it’s own combined classroom offering a seamless experience between theory and practical learning.
