To provide a practical knowledge of the basic requirements of healthcare ventilation.

Define the minimum requirements for ventilation in clinical areas
State what the minimum and maximum environmental conditions are for critical areas
Identify faults and alarms with critical ventilation systems and what could be the cause
Describe methods for safe and energy efficient operation of critical ventilation systems
