Is this course for you?
This course is for estates & facilities management staff with responsibility for the provision of safe and suitable healthcare facilities in accordance with official Best Practice and CQC requirements.

It will also provide guidance on the management structure and the appointment of Designated Persons.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Describe how the HTM suite of documents relates to the provision and operation of safe and suitable healthcare premises
- Explain the purpose of the HTM series of guidance documents and how HTMs relate to legislative requirements
- List the designated roles in relation to the professional management structure as defined in HTM 00
- Describe the responsibilities and functions of each of the designated roles across the suite of HTMs
This course is designed as an introduction; it does not provide alternative training for the specific engineering specialities within the HTM suite of documents.
